2018 PLAYER OF THE WEEK

PLAYER OF THE WEEK MINI TYKE AND TYKES

PLAYER OF THE WEEK GIRLS PLAYER OF THE WEEK BOYS
  NO ONE NOMINATED

This is Rebecca’s first year playing lacrosse, and she didn’t hesitate to step up when her team was without a goalie for the season. Rebecca attended the GELC goalie clinic, and she has been building her confidence, as well as her wall in net ever since!

> You Go Rebecca!

In only his 2nd season in Lacrosse Jeremy Moellenbeck #97 has taken a leadership role all on his own. He motivates his players, sets an example to his teammates and leading point man in the league after 2 games. His team is 2-0 to start the season.

I would like to nominate Violet Nelson for player of the week.  She is on the Golden Lions (Leduc Crush mini tykes 2) and has the loudest roar.  This load roar has helped Violet to gain her confidence and has helped her to participate more every practice.  Her first one she lasted 30 mins.  Then next she lasted 40 mins and this pattern has continued until she has made it through a full practice.  She has a big smile and a great laugh.  It has been great to see how she has blossomed and committed herself to her teammates.  Go Golden Lions Go.

Dakota is a returning player after year hiatus. She plays for the Westlock Rock Peewee Girls. She is a hard worker, who always give 100%.  She listens to her coaches and is always trying to improve her game!

Thanks to Grady’s team mates setting picks and opening up prime shooting space he scores on this play.  Always fixing his sticks and shooting in the garage all winter getting ready for box season Grady loves lacrosse.
