Canada Summer Games Development Camp

Men’s and Women’s Box Lacrosse returns to the Canada Summer Games program after originally being on the program from 1969 - 1985, and will be featured at the 2025 Canada Games taking place in St. John's Newfoundland and Labrador from August 8 to 24, 2025.

Consisting of over 5,000 athletes and coaches, the Games will welcome our nation’s next generation of national, international, and Olympic champions as the best young developing athletes from across the nation assemble to compete in Canada’s largest multi-sport event.

Eligible Age Groups

Camp Details

• Sessions will be hosted in Calgary and Edmonton. 
• Sessions will be held on weekends to allow participants to potentially travel.
• Each location will follow the exact roadmap to allow all players similar experiences.
• This camp will be a development and identification tool for CSG coaches.

Registration 

• Registration will be first come, first served, through RAMP. The cost is $300 for 12 sessions. 
• Registration is open to players who will play in U17 (male and female) in 2025 (09/10).
• Players should register based on the team they will try out for (male or female).

FAQ

• Is this a tryout? No. Formal tryouts for Team Alberta will occur in early 2025 and are separate from this camp.
• Do I have to attend this camp to tryout? No. This is a development and identification opportunity for the CSG player pool.
